Platform for Backyard Ultra
The bell rings. The runners set off. And you have a whole race to look after.
YardTrack brings participant management, lap timing and results together in one place. So you can spend more time on what matters: your Backyard as it unfolds.

Before and after the bell
Entry lists to check, bib numbers to assign and race packs to hand out. Then come the starts, the finishes and the runners who call it a day.
Often, a small team handles it all with paper, pens and spreadsheets close at hand.
YardTrack offers another way to bring those records together and make them easier to check during the race.

At the finish line
Tap the runner’s bib card to record a finish. The panel shows the record as confirmed once the server responds. Choose from three grid sizes — large, medium and small — to suit your screen and the stage of the race.
YardTrack Live
Runners, crews, family and supporters can check laps, finish records and individual histories on YardTrack Live. Data is refreshed periodically. If a crew member notices a missing record, they can ask the race director to check it.
A closer look
A finish without a record may need a closer look. For events with the review workflow enabled, the panel highlights pending records for the director to check. The DNF list helps track whose race has ended. Sporting decisions remain the race director’s responsibility.
To the last one standing
Each bell brings fewer runners to the start and more stories to tell. Follow the laps and see who is still in the race. After the final finish, revisit the results and individual histories from that Backyard.
For the people who make it happen
A group of friends, a volunteer team or an independent organizer: looking after each runner is already part of your race. With a small team and a tight budget, keeping records together makes them easier to check, lap after lap. That care matters in Backyards of all sizes.
Experience shapes the next lap
YardTrack supported the Brazilian team’s operation during the 2026 Backyard Ultra World Team Championships. That experience in the field helped identify needs and inspired improvements that continue to shape the platform.
